Canine Hydrotherapy

PROGRAM CURRENTLY SUSPENDED
A non or partially weight bearing exercise utilising the therapeutic properties of warm water. All cases are treated differently and respond in varying degrees. For some dogs simply floating/sitting or free swimming gently in the warm water pool can relieve pain and inflammation.
For other dogs more vigorous exercise is used to improve range of movement, tone muscles and increase strength. When used after surgery or injury this can aid the patient to a speedier recovery. The benefit of buoyancy supports dogs in a non-weight bearing or partially weight bearing environment thus allowing movements that would not be possible on land, due to a weakness due to growth deformities or injury. This is particularly useful for dogs that have spinal conditions. For dogs on restricted exercise or crate rest swimming can also reduce frustration.

Canine Palliative Care Appointments These appointments are for those pets and owners who know their journey together is coming to an end. The last year of a dogs life can be filled with confusion and discomfort. We as the caretakers of these souls have been given the responsibility to ensure their transition to be as peaceful and pain-free as possible. Come join Adam and your pet in the Float & Ferns Canine Hydrotherapy Sanctuary for your opportunity to swim with your pet and see that once bright light 🔥 burn again while their pain is released into the warmth and comfort of the water.
Canine Orthopedic Appointments These appointments are for those pets with general othepedic issues including but not limited to - Neurological Deficit and injuries such as FCE (spinal strokes) -Non weight bearing forelimb -Amputees -Hyperextension injuries -borderline to moderate dysplasia -High tone presentation -Patients who are extremely weak
Canine Conditioning Appointments- These appointments are for those pups of any age, breed and fitness level! Come hop in the pool with Adam and your pup for a new and exciting way to connect and exersise with your animal! If you wish, you can sit and watch Adam show you a whole new pup through fundamentals and confidence building. Each apppointment will be attund to you and your pets individual needs.
The Float & Ferns Hydrotherapy pool is a healing space not just for your pet, but for you as well. Hydrotherapy has been used as a holistic treatment for humans for longer than it has for dogs, so dive in!
Canine Off-Leash Social Hiking
Have your dog come along on with our routine pack members for a 2 hour off leash pack hike up the side of Mount Benson or further into crown lands and deep forests that follow.
-Dogs of all ages and abilities are welcome.
-All training and pack integration is included as well as their vip limo pickup and drop service from your front door.
​-If you are stuggling with socializing your pet or if your pet has behavioural issues, give Adam a chance to do his thing and lets get the best out of your pup. Adam guarentees we will see a positive change in only a few weeks.
-Sateltight GPS collars are provided.
